Hello! I'm Sophie, a freelance qualified prop maker with my own workshop based in West/East Sussex... about 20 minutes north from Brighton!

 

I have a BA Hons in prop making, special effects and theatre arts. Words cannot describe how much I love what I do! 

 

 I spend most of my time making things and can usually be found in my workshop tinkering away on a quirky project of some kind! either that or dancing somewhere, preferably in a field! If you are dreaming of something crazy and want it made into real life, then do not hesitate to get in touch, I'd love to work with you!

 

Some of my skills include- Giant sculptures (my favourite!) painting and faux finishes, soft props (puppets, mascots, anything soft basically), carpentry, extensive processes and materials - resin, fibreglass, metal, clay, silicone, foam, moulding, casting, modelling, and just general fabrication using just about anything I see fit!

 

As well as producing bespoke props I also adore turning plain spaces into full-on immersive wonderlands, as such, I have worked on festival build teams, worked with event organisers to produce extravagant scenery and props along with producing props for Harry Potter World and many many retail and PR advertising campaigns and displays.
